The Healing: New Year Transformation Series

Join Kiah Morris (she/her) and Raven Havens (they/them) on a creative, musical, guided journaling experience to explore key questions and revelations about the self and our goals going into the new year. This is a BIPOC, Queer, Gender Expansive caring environment.

Kiah and Raven will bring you through guided meditation & breathwork, personal exploration, and reflections to journal, or creatively express their journey in each session. At the culmination, participants will use their journaling to set intentions for the coming year.

Sessions are held weekly from 4-6:30 PM at Democracy Creative in Burlington, VT

Participants do not have to attend all three sessions to participate but it is strongly recommended.

Free chair massage sessions with Raven are available on a limited basis prior to each group session for participants. (Donations are appreciated!)

This three-part series is limited in attendance to allow for greater connection and intimacy in conversations. Food by local BIPOC vendors, teas/refreshments, and program materials are included in registration fees. Please note this location is not wheelchair accessible.

About the Facilitators:

KIAH MORRIS (She/Her) is an artist, performer, writer, a life, professional and equity coach, mentor, healer and intuit. Kiah draws her healing work from many cultural traditions and practices divination through tarot and US southern hoodoo mediums. Kiah has a 30-year history of Tarot reading both professionally and as a spiritual practice.

RAVEN HAVENS (They/Them) is a two-spirit guitarist, violinist, composer, teacher, luthier, artist, massage therapist, herbalist. Raven was originally from upstate New York, but migrated to Vermont in 2010. Raven is graduate of SUNY Adirondack with a degree in music. They later studied massage at Touchstone Healing Arts and has practiced for ten years. They studied herbalism at the Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism and Druidism with the Green Mountain Druid Order focusing on Shamanism. Raven’s healing work draws from Celtic magickal practices and their Wyandot and Mowhawk heritage. Raven builds and maintains musical instruments out of their home.
