My name is Kiah Morris. I provide innovative, effective strategies to help businesses, colleges and organizations across the globe develop courageous leaders and turn their visions into reality.
And I also do some rather amazing artistic work too.
I am a daughter, sister, mother, community leader, poet, advocate, advisor and inspire-er extraordinaire.
I believe in speaking truths and amplifying diverse voices. I am passionate about social justice and the intersectionality of our lived experiences.
You may know of me from my political career as the second African-American woman in the Vermont Legislature in state history. Or you might have seen me on a TED Talk stage. Heard one of my poems somewhere. You may have seen me on TV. Or in the press. Or on social media. But something brought you here.
Me, leading a group of 100 protesters in the exercise of their first amendment rights. Everyday people showed great courage and risked much that day, including legal sanctions to stand in solidarity with millions of others. They were inspired, empowered and activated to make change in the world we live in. I want that for your organization.
I ask tough questions. I seek accountability. My intent is to press critical thinking and build our collective spiritual and ethical muscles to create meaningful, honest experiences and real change in the communities we touch. Whether it is a workplace, campus community or constituency, we need more people who know how to use their voice and genius to elevate social equity in every aspect of their lives. So let's do this.
